Daniel Heffernan
Dan Heffernan is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Global Client Group. In this role, he is responsible for private fund client relationship and capital raising activities in the Western United States.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2013, Mr. Heffernan was an executive director within Morgan Stanley’s FrontPoint Partners hedge fund division and global head of fund of funds and family office distribution. Before that, Mr. Heffernan was a vice president at Goldman Sachs within its alternative capital markets group and a vice president and the hedge fund product manager for Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management in North America. Prior to Mr. Heffernan’s career in finance, he was a captain in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Heffernan holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.
