It was the history, the people and the opportunity. Brookfield has a remarkable history, and it was clear that this history is still manifest in its people. Given the firm’s rapid growth, I also had the chance to contribute to building something new.

What part of your work has been most rewarding?
For me, it’s been seeing the direct impact of my work. In my relatively short tenure, I’ve been fortunate to do work that has directly contributed to sizable investments and the starting of a new fund.

What advice would you offer to potential candidates?
Brookfield rewards employees who strive for excellence, as opposed to just meeting the job requirements. People who prove themselves to be good stewards of their current roles have historically been given more and more responsibility.
