How long have you been with Brookfield, and what has your journey been like?

I've been with Brookfield for over nine years now, starting in the Toronto office in 2015 before moving to Singapore in early 2019. It’s been a journey full of growth and opportunities, from my initial role in the infrastructure team to my current position as a client relationship manager (CRM) within our Global Client Group.

What does your current role as a CRM involve?

My role as a CRM is to provide solutions for and build long-term partnerships with our investors. Every day is different—some days I'm traveling across Southeast Asia for meetings, while others I'm in the Singapore office working on client events or internal trainings. My focus is to be a guide to our clients throughout the investment lifecycle. Whether at an initial meeting or when fully realizing an investment, I want to make sure our clients feel supported, and have the insights, tools and partnership they need to successfully deliver for their stakeholders.

"The key attribute of a Brookfield leader is that they are collaborative, entrepreneurial and disciplined. They always lead by example, and our teams follow their lead."

What has been a surprising or rewarding aspect of working at Brookfield?

One of the most rewarding parts of my time here is being a part of the collaborative culture. Brookfield fosters a supportive environment where colleagues, regardless of their seniority, work together in each other's best interests. It’s quite special to see how our team mentality helps drive both individual and company success. It’s one of the reasons people stay for so long—we’re always encouraged to grow, learn, and explore new opportunities.

What trends are you seeing among investors in your region?

A significant trend is the growing interest in alternative investments among our clients, particularly in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Many investors in these regions are new to alternative assets like infrastructure and private credit, reminiscent of when North American investors first explored these opportunities. It’s been exciting to see the market evolve, with more clients actively looking into alternatives and allocating more capital to them.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work to recharge?

Exercise is my go-to for recharging—whether it’s running, swimming, or simply enjoying a walk. I also cherish spending time with my toddler son and our dog, Happy, at the park. Those moments fill me with joy and energy, keeping me grounded and ready for whatever the week brings.
